Why We’re Building White Knight Academy

White Knight Academy started with a simple observation: many parents and adult learners want a clear way to learn chess online, but most resources feel scattered. You watch a few videos, try a puzzle here and there, maybe join a random stream — and still don’t know what to practice next. We’re shaping a structured path where online chess lessons are not just content, but a guided process with real feedback, consistency, and measurable progress.

The Real Problem

Most chess classes online fall into one of two extremes: they’re either too casual (fun, but no direction) or too advanced (great content, but not designed for real beginners). For families, it’s even harder — kids often need a clear routine, short tasks, and a coach who keeps the learning fun and focused.

Every chess master was once a beginner.

Irving Chernev

That’s why so many people search for chess classes for beginners or beginner chess lessons, start with motivation, and then stop after a few weeks:

  • there’s no structured sequence

  • there’s no feedback on mistakes

  • there’s no plan that fits a weekly routine

What We’re Creating

Our goal is a platform where a chess course for beginners actually feels like a course: step-by-step, predictable, and easy to follow — for kids and adults alike.

What we’re building around:

  • Online chess coaching with a clear weekly plan (not random topics)

  • Small-group sessions + optional chess tutor online support when you need extra help

  • Practical training: tactics, simple openings, strategy basics, and game review

  • Progress tracking that shows what improved (and what still needs work)

This will also connect directly to our membership packages — so you can choose a plan (monthly or yearly) and always know what you’re getting: live sessions, structured training, and guidance that keeps you moving forward.

If you’d like to shape the first version, we’re opening Alpha/Beta testing soon. Comment “ALPHA” and tell us: kids or adult, and your current level (beginner / intermediate).
